Cafe Monet is an absolute gem for brunch lovers! From the moment you step inside, you're transported to a charming Parisian cafe, complete with elegant decor and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The hospitality is top-notch—the staff is warm, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. It’s also BYOB which is a plus. The highlight of my visit was the quiche—perfectly baked with a flaky crust and a rich, flavorful filling. Every bite was a delight! Pair it with a fresh pastry and a cappuccino, and you have the perfect start to your day. Whether you're looking for a leisurely brunch or a quick escape to Paris without leaving New Jersey, Monet Cafe is the place to be.

First of all let me say that I’ve never been to a true French restaurant in my life. It was a fortuitous impromptu dinner that brought me here. It was a revelation to dine here. The main reason is that all patrons and servers shared and understood that a Saturday night repast had no business being harried. Nor did it need to be unreasonable in price. I enjoyed a fantastic Hanger Steak with frittes and fresh young salad leaves. The whole plate was abundantly flavored and proportionately just. The owner and chef hand-delivered all his creations. At first, I didn’t realize this because of his humility... nice touch and a great look. Anyway, enjoy this gem if you wish to tarry a while and enjoy your company and the culinary stylings. J'ai du revenir en arriere et voir si l'experience culinaire magique etait aussi bonne que ma premiere visite en avril de cette annee. C'etait. Merci a l'excellent service et a l'excellent travail du chef. Magnifique et fantastique !

My mother and I are here recently and the food was delicious. We ordered one of the quiches and the croissant French toast. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We definitely plan to return!

We recently had an amazing dining experience at Cafe Monet in Millburn, NJ. The restaurant offers delicious French cuisine. We started with the Red Onion Tarte Tatin with Goat Cheese and the Wild Mushroom Strudel, both of which were bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. For the main course, we ordered the Rabbit and Steak, and both were cooked to perfection. The dessert, Apple Tarte Tatin, was a classic and delicious. The restaurant's design is captivating, with numerous paintings adorning the walls, adding to the overall dining experience. Overall, Cafe Monet is highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic French cuisine in a unique and charming setting in Millburn, NJ. We will definitely be returning when we're back in the area.

Absolutely loved our experience here! The atmosphere had a quaint, intimate Parisian charm that made the whole evening feel cozy. The service was warm and attentive, and everything we ordered was truly excellent. The rib eye steak was one of the best I’ve ever had - tender, flavorful, and perfectly prepared.

Delicious for brunch - the meals were great and cooked perfectly. They were simple and done right, with a complimentary option of self-service fruit and baguette/hummus. Lovely cafe ambiance that fits right in with a corner in Paris.

This is hands down my fave restaurant in the area. Intimate setting with amazing French food (BYOB) - perfect for a date night. Menu changes often, but the lamb chops never disappoint. I’m patiently waiting for the oxtail gnocchi to grace the menu again (chefs kiss). Profiteroles were great for dessert, and were actually way better than one I ordered at a Paris restaurant. Food can sometimes take a bit to get to your table after ordering but always worth the wait. You will need a reservation for holidays
